well

There was not only a wishing well at Pastel Lane but also a well. In mid-60's, a well was drilled at Pastel Lane which is why the water tasted like sulphur. Can any one (but me) remember where either of these two wells were?

I obviously do not remember anything as I was not born. However, I do remember dad (Paul) talking about the well.

Thanks Ted,
But you, being so young, do not even know which well (both) that you do not remember. Once again Ted, thank you. Check e-mail.

I remember Freddie. He went to happy acres for dogs after killing the neighbors cats. Steve

Since no one seems to know or care where the wells were, I'll tell. If facing the house, the Wishing Well (yes there was one) was in the front yard north of the driveway.
The other real well which was drilled in mid 60's was in the side yard on the south side of the house. When it was drilled, there was left a big pile of "quicksand", basically a mound of very wet mud. Steve, being the adventurer that he is, climbed atop the mound, much to his mother's chagrin, and began sinking in it ergo, quicksand.
